Many people in Cedar City do not realize that we have a fully functional airport in Cedar City.  The city recently spent nearly 5 million dollars building an amazing airport terminal in Cedar City.  Cedar City also has the 2nd longest commercial runway in Utah.  Currently U.S. Airways Express flies 2 flights per day to Salt Lake City and 1 flight per day to Las Vegas.   This makes it possible to connect and get basically anywhere in the world.   Here are some of the advantages of flying out of Cedar City.   First is free parking, compaired to the 24 dollars per day you pay in Las Vegas it doesn’t take long to recoupe the $99.00 round trip fare.   Second is you don’t have to wait in long lines at TSA and if you do forget an item your car is only about 100 yards away and you can usually just take the item out to your car.   Third you don’t have to drive to Salt Lake or Las Vegas.   There are a few more reason I am glad we have this airport but I wont bore you with them.
