Sorry I am a little late with the real estate numbers for October. In October 34 homes (includes TownHomes, Condos, Mobile Homes, SFR, SFRA, Modulars ect) were sold. We had one home sell for $950,000.00 dollars and then our lowest was a mobile home for $15,000.00. The average sales price for October was $234,000.00. We currently have 416 homes listed in Cedar City, Utah.
In October of 2005 we had 53 homes sale. The lowest being a $20,000.00 dollar mobile home and the highest was a Cedar Highlands Cabin for $605,000.00. On October 31, 2005 we had a total of 139 active listings in Cedar City.
As you can see by the numbers we have a lot more inventory this year as opposed to last year. We also have less buyers. If you are trying to sell your home this means that you will need to use an experanced real estate agent (Like Me) to handle Marketing, Negociating and Closing your home sale. If you are currently a looking to buy real estate in Southern Utah you couldn’t have picked a better time. There are currently a lot of really good deals on homes, condos, townhomes, and even mountain properties like Cabins and acreage.
